Mini DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter Connects Your mDP Laptop to an HDMI Display
This Keyspan® passive Mini DisplayPort to HDMI cable connects an HDMI monitor, projector or television to the mDP or Thunderbolt 1 or 2 port on your computer, laptop, notebook, MacBook, Chromebook, Ultrabook, Microsoft Surface or other compatible computer or tablet. It features male mDP and female HDMI connectors, so you can continue using your existing HDMI display and cable to transmit audio/video without the expense of a new mDP display.
Supports High-Definition 1080p and Audio for Video Presentations
This adapter is ideal for giving video presentations in conference rooms and classrooms or playing video for digital signage in crystal-clear 1080p. It supports video resolutions up to 1920 x 1080, as well as HDCP 2.2. It also transmits audio, as long as the mDP source device also does (check your source device’s manual for audio compatibility). The passive adapter requires the source device to support DisplayPort++, which allows the HDMI signal to pass through (again, check the manual for compatibility).
Plug-and-Play Operation Lets You Begin Watching Video Almost Immediately
The plug-and-play Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapter requires no software, drivers or external power; works with both Windows and Mac operating systems; and is compatible with laptops, tablets and other devices equipped with a female Mini DisplayPort or Thunderbolt 1 or 2 port. The slim-profile unit is easy to carry in a pocket, purse, backpack or laptop bag for instant 1080p video where needed.
